Posting rules

\This a literate to advanced roleplay. One paragraph is minimum, for those of you who don't know what that is, five sentences. Though that is minimum, I would love to see atleast two to four, I'm not saying you have to, but it would be best. Writers block and no muse is understood, even if you have it though, I do not want to see a one liner ever.
\ Just as a forewarning, since there is no liquid time and just to keep things less confusing, there will be a FOUR (4) character limit.

\Power playing is also a no-no, for those of you who do not know what power playing is here is an example.
"Wolf 1 jumped on wolf 2 and grab on their throat, killing them instantly."
BAD
"Wolf 1 jumped towards wolf 2 and attempted to grab their throat, hoping to cut the jugular so wolf 2 would die from blood loss."
GOOD.
\Godmoding is a complete no. Godmoding is where you control another person's character without their permission. Do not do it.

Fighting rules

\In each fight each character gets four attacks and two dodges. Once all the attacks and dodges are used up, a staff member will judge who won, the injuries of the fight, how long it will take to heal and any long term effects the injuries the fight will have on each character.
\Neck attacks are not allowed, I know this is somewhat unfair but we don't want every single wolf dieing every fight.
\If the staff member that's judging your fight thinks the injuries are too bad and your wolf cannot live through them, and they decide your wolf will die, do not argue. I know it's always sad when you have to kill off your wolf, but you can always make a new one.
\If you disagree with one of the injuries that the staff member gave your wolf, talk it out with them. If after talking to them, message one of the admin's or another mod and see what they say. They will most likely agree with the other staff member, but they have final word.
\Males and females can fight eachother just as well as males and males can fight eachother and females and females may fight eachother.

\Mates
\A kill
\In a pack war
\Ranks

Males may fight over:
\Pups
\Pack lands
\Mates
\A kill
\A pack war
\Ranks
\Kicking sons out of the pack

\ If there is a pack battle, you must sign up with the appropriate form when the staff post a thread stating that there will be a pack versus pack battle. You will be judged according to your form and then paired with another wolf that is about equal to your roleplaying status from the opposing pack.

\ The winner, just as in regular fights, will be judged by the staff. Injuries and illnesses (if you have bit bitten by a rabies-infected wolf, for example) are determined by Mother Nature, as well as how long they will last and if you will die. Face it, not all wolves will live from a battle. If you don't like how a staff member judged the outcome, ask Saint to make her decision. She may agree, but she has the final word. No ifs, ans, or buts.

\ We will count how many battles are won on each side. For example, say Varen Pack wolves have won three wolf-on-wolf matches and the Rutus Pack wolves have won seven. So at the end, Rutus would have won the battle.

\ Alphas will always fight each other in pack versus pack battles.

Pack rules.

\This may seem unfair, but only males may claim pack grounds.
\The hierarchy is law, follow it.
\Males are safe to keep pack lands for two weeks. After the two weeks, any other male may fight the male who owns the land for the land.
\Ranks, other than the alpha position can be fought over, all positions will be given to any pack member by the alpha only.

Reproducing rules

\Graphic breeding/birthing is against the rules and will result in a ban. If you really want to, go to PM's.
\Breeding must take place only in the breeding season. Which is between week 4 in fall and week 3 in winter. After this time is over, breeding will not be allowed after this.
\Two weeks exactly after being inpregnated, females will give birth.
\Pups can leave their mother after being a year old, but they can be played by whoever is going to play them a week after their born. They don't have to always be with their mothers when they're about four months old, they can usually be playing about with other packs members by now.
\Pups can be weaned and start eating meat after being a month old.
\Pups can start hunting when they're eight months old, parents will start taking the pups to show how to hunt when they're four months old.

Time

\Liquid time is not allowed, if you post in one place with your character, then you must finish the thread before you start posting somewhere else with the same character.
\Time goes by the same way it does in real life, it makes things easier. The only time it changes is when pups are born. One day will be one week until the pups after two months old, once they are this age, real time will be go by for them.
